Cream the following ingredients together:
2-8 oz pkgs. cream cheese 1/3 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. lemon juice
In a separate bowl, mix the ingredients below in the order given: 1½ cups quick oatmeal 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour 1 tsp. dried lemon ¼ cup dried milk (non-fat)
1 tsp. baking powder ½ cup dates, chopped
¼ cup melted butter ¼ cup honey
Directions
Spread oat mixture on a baking sheet and bake at 350º F. for 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Pour ½ of the mixture into an 8×8 baking dish. Press the cream cheese mixture on top, then sprinkle on the rest of the oat mixture and press down. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
